Uptime announced raising $16 million

Uptime, a London, UK-based startup building a freemium mobile app used providing knowledge media bits, announced that it raised a $16 million capital funding round.

The money was raised from a range of angel investors including David Alliance and Terry Leahy.

Uptime was founded in 2019 by serial British entrepreneurs Jamie True and Jack Bekhor and Patrick Walker, with the aim to provide access to media bits which they call knowledge hackings. It is available on a mobile app, for free, and includes content from the world’s best books, courses and documentaries.
