Vok Bikes to raise €800k in pre seed funding from United Angels VC, Superangel and angel investors
Vok Bikes, a Talinn, Estonia-based manufacturer of cargo bikes, announced that it completed a pre seed capital funding round of €800k ($970k).
The money was raised from local investors from Estonia, including United Angels VC and Superangel, as well as business angels, including Ragnar Sass, Martin Henk and Martin Tajur.
Vok Bikes, founded in 2019 by Indrek Petjärv, Siim Starke, and Riho Koop, developed cargo bikes called pedelecs, vehciles designed specifically for couriers and postal workers, with a range of 100 km and a top speed of 25 km/h. The company works with customers including Lithuanian courier service Ziticity, Estonian e-scooter producer and fleet operator Tuul by Comodule, and Estonian national postal service provider Eesti Post.
