Wavy from Sweden raises money for its SAAS platform for beauty salons

Wavy, a Visby, Sweden-based startup providing a SAAS service for the beauty industry, announced raising an undisclosed amount in a new round of investment. The backers include local business angels, Isabella Löwengrip, Ida Backlund and Pingis Hadenius.

Wavy, founded by Fredrik Ampler, Miriam Nilsson and Robin Jakobsson in 2014, provides a booking platform for users interested in finding hairdressers. The company makes money by selling monthly subscriptions to salons.

Prior to this round, Wavy raised SEK 3M ($357k) in the summer of 2016.
