Woshapp secures $1.1M in funding from Norrsken Foundation, Peter Sterky and Dan Castillo.

Woshapp, a Stockholm, Sweden-based company managing an operation providing car washing services, announced that it secured SEK 10M ($1.1M) in capital investment.

The funding was provided by Swedish investors led by Norrsken Foundation and including angel investors Dan Castillo, Boel Rydenå Swartling and Peter Sterky. Money will be used to scale up business operations and expand geographically.

Woshapp, founded in 2017 by Jens Karlsson and Mark Owuya, built a mobile app that acts as a provider for delivering car washing services. The company works with corporate accounts from Stockholm and had registered yearly sales of SEK 1.9 million ($210k) at a breakeven operation.
