Ztable, an Uppsala, Sweden-based company operating a social network for horse riders, announced that it completed a SEK 5M ($550k) capital investment round.

The money was provided by Swedish angel investors Fredrik Österberg and Marcus Schiller and as well as by Almi Invest, which matched with a SEK 2M contribution. The funding will be used for further development, marketing and international launch of the application.

Ztable, founded in 2016 and led by CEO Ingrid Sundqvist, developed a social network for horse riders. The app, which has about 40k downloads, also provides a training calendar and filmed riding exercises with well-known coaches and riders. The company intends to make money from selling a premium version of the app.

Prior to this deal, Ztable raised about $400k from investors including Helene Adalberth, Lena Wijkström and Propel Capital.
