Coeli Asset Management takes over Accum Kapital's funds management.

Coeli Asset Management, a subsidiary in the Coeli Group, a Stockholm, Sweden-based independent investment management firm, announced taking over Accum Kapital's current fund management and administration.

The transaction was closed in October 2017 and Erland Sköldborg, co-founder of Accum Kapital, will be involved in the transition, thus, helping to make the process as smooth and successful as possible.

The deal includes the management resources of the Funds Capital Preservation Strategy (CPS) and Capital Growth Strategy (CGS), two funds of funds predominantly investing in hedge funds and absolute return funds.

Accum Kapital was founded in 2009 as WSM AB and changed its name in 2015. It is funded by investors including Rami Shaaban (a former goalkeeper for football team Arsenal), Kim Johnsson (NHL veteran), Erik Ejerhed and Jesper Almkvist.

Accum Kapital has also made some investments in local companies, including Barnebys, Gumbler (now G:Loot) or Billogram.
