Evothings, a Stockholm, Sweden-based startup providing a cloud service for developers to make apps for connected gadgets IoT, went bankrupt.

The company was founded in 2013 by Alex Jonsson and raised almost $2M in outisde capital, with Almi and Ceres Advisors among the backers. The last round was in January 2017, when it raised SEK 500k ($55k) and remained without CEO Karin Edström.

In 2015 the company reported net sales of SEK 350,000 and a loss of just over SEK 4 million.
