Huddlestock buys up Islero
Huddlestock, an Oslo, Norway-founded provider of a crowd investing platform announced the acquisition of Islero. The financial details of the transaction remain undisclosed.
Islero, founded in 2015 in Trondheim, Norway and led by CEO Frede Fardal, has developed a subscription-based platform that enables investors to make better investment decisions by aggregating research from both independent analysts and professional brokerages.
Huddlestock, founded in 2014 and led by CEO Murshid M. Ali, is a financial technology company based in Level39 in London, United Kingdom and Oslo, Norway. The company has developed a platform allowing the crowd to invest whereby everyone can receive great investment ideas, collaborate in making decisions.
The company launched their platform in January, 2016 - where the Crown Prince of Norway did the first trade, and is currently live in a closed environment with 1000 beta users.
Through the purchase Huddlestock will get access to a large set of strategy vendors, who will be part of the platform, and provide strategies and investment ideas to all live users of Huddlestock. The company raised about $2.5M in funding since its being founded.
