IIS invests SEK 1.5M in MetaSolutions

The internet foundation in Sweden, IIS, invested SEK 1.5M in MetaSolutions as part of an investment program to support Internet companies in a growth phase.

MetaSolutions, led by CEO Eric Hjelmestam, was founded in 2011 as a spin-off from KTH, the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm and develops modern cloud solutions for information management with applications such as quickly publishing Open Data.

The money will be used for expansion in more European markets.
