Just Football gets a SEK 250k investment from Almi Invest

Just Football was named Most Promising Startup of the Year in Sweden Demo Day in competition with 500 companies and had Almi Invest placed an investment of SEK 250 000.

Sweden Demo Day, former Internet Discovery Day, which connects entrepreneurs with investors, industry professionals and the media, hit the record year with over 2000 visitors, including 500 startups and about 250 national and international investors.

Almi Invest participated in several panels, pitch and hit a large number of the 500 companies that took part to determine who would get investment of SEK 250 000.

Almi Invest Investment Most Promising Startup of the Year went to Just Football, which develops an app with the ambition to revolutionize football. Via the app you can find fellow players, keep track of results and lists and compete against each other.

"This is a strong team in a short time has attracted several of the greatest talents in different disciplines. The business idea addresses a huge market, combining offline and online and engage people of all ages. Like Pokemon app gets people to engage physically and with others. It allowed people from different cultures to meet. Football fan or not - were sure you will hear of Just Football in the future," says Johan Crona, Fund Manager at Almi Invest.
