Magisso gets investment from NXC, a South Korean investment company.

Magisso, a Helsinki, Finland-based design manufacturing company, announced that it had received an undisclosed amount in equity investment. The round was led by NXC, a publicly-listed Korean company, which was joined by current investors and by Magisso's operational management team. The money will be used to further enhance the international growth as well as to strengthen the company's product offering.

Magisso, founded in 2008 by Juhani Sirén and Anssi Hurme, is a design company that manufactures products improving the quality of everyday life. The company expects EUR 3M ($3.2M) in revenues for 2017.

NXC owns the largest gaming company in Korea and is a holding company of NEXON, listed in Tokyo Stock Exchange in largest IPO of 2011, that engages in mission driven investments in various global businesses. NXC acquired Norwegian manufacturer of children’s furniture and accessories Stokke in 2013.
