Nordkap raises SEK 5M from Collector Ventures.

Nordkap, a Sweden-based financial service company, raised a new investment round of SEK 5M ($550k) from Collector Ventures. The money will be used for expanding both geographically and vertically in terms of more customer segments.

Nordkap was founded in the 90s and was taken over by entrepreneur Richard Hjelm in 2010. The company provides a web-based service for mid-sized enterprises for analysis and valuations of financial products and services.

Nordkap had a turnover of SEK 3.3 million in 2015 and expects a turnover of around SEK 8M ($900k) for 2016. Prior to this investment tranche, in 2015, Nordkap raised almost $500k from NFT Ventures, a Bonnier-owned, fintech venture-focused firm, which is also part of Collector Ventures, the new investor in the company.
