Northern.tech raises $2.5M in an investment round led by Alliance Ventures

Northern.tech, an Oslo, Norway, and Palo Alto, USA-based supplier of software for “Securing the World’s Connected Devices”, announced closing a new investment funding round of $2.5M.

The backers are Alliance Venture and include existing investor Investinor.

Northern.tech, founded in 2008 by Mark Burgess and Thomas Ryd, developed a product software portfolio (CFEngine, Mender and Zener) for data centers, networks and IoT.

The company has raised over the years funding from investors including Ferd Ventures and Founders Fund.
