Pangara adds 11 Million SEK for further expansion.

Pangara, a Malmö, Sweden-based startup providing a marketplace for software developers, announced raising more than SEK 11M ($1.2M) in equity investment.

The round was about 2x oversubscribed and included private investor Jan Petterson and Acacia Asset Management, a family investment group within the tech sector, led by Christer Jacobsson as chairman and Per Jacobsson as CEO.

Pagara, founded in 2016 by David Svensson and Fredrik Wesslén, has developed an online platform aimed to connect freelancers and software talent with companies. The company intends to expand within the entire Nordic region and then internationally.

Prior to this investment, Pagara raised SEK 2.8M ($350k) in seed money in 2016.
