Sweden has a new private equity fund: Mimir Invest

MIMIR Invest announced the final closing of its first Private Equity fund.

The Fund was oversubscribed and the fund raise was executed in record time. Investors in the fund include NAXS AB which is listed on the Stockholm Stock Exchange, other European institutions and large corporations.

MIMIR Invest was founded in 2016 by Erik Bork, Jeff Bork, Joakim Notö and Henry Selenius, who are the Managing Partners, and addressed a gap in Europe for a mid-market focused special situations investor with an operations focus.

MIMIR will focus on acquiring and developing companies with Sales between EUR 30 million and EUR 2 billion. The fund can commit equity tickets of between EUR 1-50M, with a sweetspot of EUR 3-25M

MIMIR has already started its work, currently engaging in due diligence of a range of companies across the Nordics, continental Europe and North America.
