Viva Labs gets strategic investment of NOK 11M from Danish Solar A/S

Viva Labs, a Oslo, Norway smart home solutions startup, received a strategic investment of NOK 11M ($1.3M).

The money comes from Solar A/S, a Danish, publicly-listed, sourcing and services company, operating primarily within the electrical, heating and plumbing, and ventilation technology sectors. The deal was made for about 20% of the company at a NOK 55M ($6.4M) valuation.

Viva Labs, founded by Henrik Holen and Kyrre Wathne in 2012, uses artificial intelligence to automatically adapt and provide a smart home solution to the way people live their lives, controlling heating, security, and lights.

Prior to this investment, Viva Labs raised an additional €400,000 ($435k) from Founders Fund and Investinor, in March 2015.
