Ably Medical gets NOK 7M for R&D and internationalisation.

Ably Medical, an Ålesund, Norway startup providing technology-based medical beds, raised NOK 7M ($830k) from Yngve Sævik and an unnamed investor.

Ably, founded at the end of 2015 by Kjell-Are Furnes, Arve Voldsund, Jørn Refsnæs and Cato Bjørkli, started as NOK 5M project for 4 Norwegian hospitals. Currently the company is also exploring entering the Canadian market, as their solution is being tested in 6 local hospitals.
