Comordo brings in SEK 3M for a SAAS recommendation engine.

Comordo, a Linköping, Sweden-based SAAS startup offering a recommendation engine, raised SEK 3M ($340k). The backers include Almi Invest, Linköping University as well as business angels Mattias Weinhandl and Henrik Lewander.

Comordo was founded in 2014 by the mathematician Niklas Ekvall with the vision to change the way on demand-services are working around loyalty and help them to move focus from chasing new customers to develop the potential of their existing customers.

As such, Comordo has developed a recommendation engine which media companies can implement in their streaming solutions. The engine is based on advanced "mathematical algorithms and machine learning" and the goal is to find hidden patterns in large amounts of data that customers usually generates.
