๐ธ๐ช Kiano, D2C producer of plant-based superfood mixes, protein powers and meal replacement powders, sold a major package in the company to Nicoya, a local food investor.
๐ฉ๐ฐ Wayfare, developing an end-to-end data integration platform, built for data-driven enterprises and regulated industries, raised a pre-seed round from PreSEED Ventures.
๐ฑ๐ป FIS, developing a customisable no-code lending solution for lenders, fintechs and banks, raised $300k from Expansion Capital.
๐ธ๐ช Pigello, selling a CRM system for the real estate industry, raised $1.2 million from local investors.
๐ณ๐ด Pascal Technologies, manufacturing high-speed small boats and passenger ferries, raised $5 million from investors led by US-based Ocean Zero.
That is the third Nordic electric boat producer startup to announce raising capital in the past month:

- ๐ธ๐ช X Shore raised almost $30 million in a bridge round with local bank SEB.
Also worth noting, Ocean Zero is an American VC fund co founded by Chris Anderson (TED Talks founder and author of the long tail theory) for backing startups involved in decarbonizing transportation. In Europe, it also backed Ayro from France, a shipping wind power company which designs wind propulsion systems.

๐จ๐ญ Impossible Materials, manufacturing plant-based cellulose white pigment and opacifier solutions, raised $3.7 million seed from investors led by Mission Possible Capital.
๐ฉ๐ช Magnotherm, manufacturers of a smart refrigerator, raised a $5.4 million seed round backed by Extantia Capital, BMH Hessen, Lauda and Revent.

๐ฉ๐ฐ Nordic Secondary Fund acquired more shares in Varjo in a seconday transaction. Varjo, producer of AR/VR devices out of Finland, was founded in 2015 and raised $140 million from the likes of Atomico and EQT Ventures.
๐ฌ๐ง GoHenry, providing banking services for kids, was acquired in an all equity deal by US-based Acorns. GoHenry has raised about $100 million from Revaia, Citigroup, Concept Ventures and Edison Partners. (I played with Henry's financials a few months ago)
๐ฌ๐ง The Financial Times acquired a majority stake in Endpoints News, an American biotech and health industry news site with 160k subscribers.
๐จ๐ญ Nestlé acquired 49.95% of the shares in YFood, a German operator of a meal replacement brand. YFood was founded in 2017 and had raised some $20 million from VCs including Felix Capital, Five Seasons and Freigeist Capital.
๐ฌ๐ง Tandem Bank, a London-based digital bank owned by Pollen Street Capital, acquired the one year old, bootstrapped money-sharing app Loop Money.
๐ฌ๐ง Hunter Point Capital acquired a passive minority stake in Inflexion, a London-based mid-market private equity firm investing across the UK and Europe.
๐ซ๐ท L'Oréal acquired Aesop, an Australian skin care brand, from Brazil's Natura Cosmetics for $2.5 billion, its biggest acquisition ever.
