Contango Kapital AS was founded in January 2012, when the two corporate venture funds Hafslund Venture and Energy Future Invest merged. Contango Kapital is owned by the management team and currently provides advisory services to Energy Future Invest AS and Contango Ventures II AS.
In 2014, Contango took over the investment portfolio of Incitia Partners, as Incitia got out of business.
