Waves4Power is a Swedish company that develops and sells wave energy systems. Waves4Power’s concept is to focus on profitable electricity production with a system that is survivable and easily serviceable.Therefore Waves4Power is developing a power generating buoy with an elastic mooring system. In the ocean you need to follow the motion of the waves. Structures that fight the waves are doomed to fail sooner or later. Navigation and weather buoys are good examples of simple structures proven to survive for over 100 years in the challenging marine environment.
