Artland added DKK 6M in fresh capital from Pre Seed Ventures, SEED Capital and Danish angel investor Henrik Lindemann.
Artland, a Copenhagen, Denmark-based startup managing a social marketplace for art, added DKK 6M ($930k) in a capital investment round.
The investors include Pre SEED Ventures, SEED Capital as well as angel investors Henrik Lindemann and British art collector Victor Benady.
Artboost, founded in 2016 by siblings Jeppe Curth and Mattis Curth (CEO), developed a mobile marketplace that aims to connect art collectors, art lovers, galleries, and artists from all over the world. According to the Danish accounting records, the company still losing money, as it is still focused on building the product and related business. The platform has around 25,000 users, while they have 100 partner galleries around the world.
Prior to this capital infusion, Artland raised capital from investors including Nygaard Seed investment, Jens-Peter Brask, Mikkel Hansen, Andreas Helgstrand, Shaka Loveless, Nicolas Michaelsen and Poul Oddershede.
