Champion Games secured €2 million from Play Ventures, DeFiance Capital et al.

Champion Games, a Barcelona, Spain-based startup buildinga fantasy sport game named Mister Fantasy, compledted a funding round closed at €2 million ($2.3M).

The money was raised from investors including Play Ventures, DeFiance Capital, ParaFi Capital, DAO Maker, Kyros Ventures, Metrix Capital and Peech Capital.

The company also announced that the youtuber Willyrex will also invest and the youtuber KmanuS88 will join the advisory board.

Champion Games, founded as Mister Fantasy in Seville in 2015 by CEO Marc Cercós, features a social fantasy soccer game where fans play and compete with friends and sport enthusiasts for fun. The game offers users a distinct play style and new game mechanics to become the fantasy game of choice for soccer fans.

Prior to this € 1m round, Champion Games raised €300k in 2019 and €1 million in 2020.
