Ecodrop to raise €5 million from Turenne and Amundi.


Ecodrop, a Paris, France-based startup operating a platform for waste management, announced completing a €5 million ($6M) capital funding round.

The money was raised from two investment funds from France - Turenne and Amundi - and from existing investor Saint Gobain. Local undisclosed angel investors also contributed to the round.

Ecodrop, founded in 2016 by Marie Combarieu as a spinoff from Saint-Gobain, developed a platform connecting craftsmen and operators of waste management , with the aim of helping to increase the share directed towards recycling circuits. The company onboarded 40 partner waste collection centers, 15 recycling channels and 250 transporters in Ile-de-France.
