Fritidsfabriken gets Altor as investor to further grow its fashion commerce operation, RevolutionRace.

Fritidsfabriken, a Götene, Sweden-based company manufacturing and selling outdoor apparel, announced closing an investment agreement with the private equity company Altor.

The deal was made through Altor's fund, Altor Fund IV, for a significant minority ownership, while the company's  founders - Pernilla and Niclas Nyrensten - will remain as majority owners of the company and continue in their operational roles as CEO and Head of Product.

Fritidsfabriken was founded in 2013 and has developed an ecommerce operation by building fast growing Swedish consumer brand, RevolutionRace. RevolutionRace sells outdoor apparel products through a direct to consumer model, with an innovative design, high quality & functionality at an affordable price point. In four years the company has grown at an impressive speed to a turnover of approximately SEK 120M ($15M) for the fiscal year that ended in June 2017.
