Global Attractions SP was acquired by Accent Equity.
Global Attractions SP, a Malmö, Sweden manufacturer of quipment for indoor playgrounds and other leisure related activities, announced getting into an investment agreement for selling the majority of the company to the Swedish private equity company Accent Equity.
Following the deal, which has financial specifics undisclosed, the management will stay on as co-owners.
Global Attractions SPI, founded in 1974 and led by CEO Mikael Wettergren, is one of the European producers of equipment for indoor playgrounds and other leisure related activities.
The company has local presence in fifteen countries and a wide distributor base in twelve countries, together covering five continents. The company has also five production and assembly units located across Europe and offers turn-key services ranging from concept development and design to production and installation.
Global Attractions has a global customer base, including operators of Family Entertainment Centres, hotels, airports and restaurants, and has net sales of approximately SEK 330 million ($35M).
