Heart Aerospace raised $2.1M from EQT Ventures and Norrsken Foundation.

Heart Aerospace, a Gothenburg, Sweden-based manufacturer of electric aeroplanes, completed a SEK 20M ($2.1M) capital investment round.

The money was provided by 19 Swedish investors, including EQT Ventures and Norrsken Foundation.

Heart Aerospace, founded in 2018 by  CEO Anders Forslund, is building an electric regional airliner certified for passenger flights. The aircraft is a nineteen-passenger airliner with an operating range of 400 km and is expected to be certified for commercial operation by 2025. The company has already advanced discussions with customers including SAS, BRA and Widerøe.

At the beginning of 2019, Heart Aeropsace was accepted into Y Combinator.
