Kappa Bar gets investment from Emil HeatoN Christensen to expand its esportsbar franchise.

Kappa Bar, a Stockholm, Sweden-based chain food known as esports friendly, added investment from local investor Emil Christensen.

The amount remains undisclosed and the money will be used to fuel the expansion ambition of the restaurant.

Emil Christensen, known as HeatoN, is widely considered one of the best Counter-Strike players of all time. He played profesionally for Ninjas in Pyjamas (NiP) and also makes investments through Orlando John.

Kappa Bar, founded by Robert Dragovic, Klas Bergqvist, Henric Lettberger and Christoffer Morsing, opened its first restaurant in Göteborg in may 2016. The company aims to reach 40 restaurants open in Sweden and then expand internationally.
