Ljusgårda raises SEK 170 million from Back in black, Philian and Per Brilioth.

Ljusgårda, Tibro, Sweden-based indoor vegetable producer, announced raising an equity capital round closed at SEK 170 million ($18.7M).

The money was raised locally from investors from Sweden, including Jula Group, Back in Black, Philian and Per Brilioth of VNV Global. According to local media sources, the deal values the company at SEK 1 billion ($110M).

Back in Black's CEO Alexandre Mordasini will also join the Ljusgårda's board of directors.

Ljusgårda, founded in 2017 by Magnus Crommert, CEO Andreas Wilhelmsson and Erik Lundgren, developed a 7500 sqm vertical plant factory using vertical and hydroponic solutions for growing fruit and vegetables all year around. The company previously raised funding in 2021.
