MRM Global raised £2.6 million in funding from BGF.

MRM Global, an Edinburgh, UK-based tech provider for drink manufacturers, announced that it completed funding of £2.6 million ($3.4M).

The money was provided by the British investor BGF. Euan Baxter of BGF will also join the Board of MRM Global and Andy Fennell will be a non-exec chairman.

Funding will be used for expanding the business in the United States as well as enhance the product capabilities.

MRM Global, founded in 2001 and led by Craig Letton, developed a technology platform enables global drinks manufacturers and wholesalers to dramatically increase the level of marketing support they provide to their independent hospitality and retail customers. Its Brand Creator app enables sales reps and customers to quickly and easily create on-demand marketing materials that increase brand visibility and product sales. In the last three years, MRM has expanded internationally to over 34 countries and works with world-leading spirits and beer brands.
