Nxtfood to get €10 million more from existing investors Roquette Ventures and Creadev

Nxtfood, a Lille, France-based alternative food prducer of plant-based products, announced securing a €10 million ($12M) capital funding round.

The money was raised from existing investors, family-office investment companies from France Roquette Ventures and Creadev. Most of proceeds will be used for the construction of a production plant of several thousand tonnes per year, located in Vitry-en-Artois, near Douai.

Nxfood, founded in 2018 by CEO Thierry Maroye, produces plant-based meat products. The company previously raised €5.5 million.
