Oura Health raises €5M more in a round led by US-based Bold Capital Partners and Finland’s Tesi.
Oura Health, an Oulu, FInland-based manufacturer of a wellnes IOT ring, announced adding €5M ($5.9M) in a new invstment round. The backing was led by Bold Capital Partners and Tesi and the money will be used to scale US market operations and push the Oura platform forward.
The company also announced that former Oura Health CEO Petteri Lahtela will become President and Chief Innovation Officer while continuing his position on the Oura Health board.
Former Ouraring Inc. President Harpreet Rai has been appointed as the new Oura Health CEO, with US industry specialists Stephen Friend and Kevin Lin also joining the Oura Health board.
Oura, founded in 2013 by Kari Kivelä and Petteri Lahtela, manufactured a ring which actively monitors the physiological responses of the body and provides via an accopmpanying app personalized and actionable recommendations, visualizing the insights regarding sleep, activity, and readiness to perform.
Prior to this round, Oura Health raised €7.5M in capital.
