Outtt was acquired by Outdooractive

Outtt, Valdres, Norway operator of an outdoor and destination platform, announced that it was acquired by the German tourism company Outdooractive.

Financial details were not disclosed.

Outtt, founded in 2012 as Tur App and led by CEO Erlend Eggen, makes outdoor adventures and experiences in Norway more accessible to the modern outdoor enthusiast.

The company has a mobile app that provides outdoor insights through digital tools, interactive mapping, as well as curated trails, tips and insider guides. By partnering with local and regional providers to curate authentic wilderness experiences, the app connects Norway’s most-loved adventures and hidden gems to a growing domestic and international community.

Outtt was backed by investors including Kimen til vekst, StartupLab, Tom Stiansen or Carine Zeier.
