Pixii secured €700k in a pre-seed investmeht round backed by local angel investors.

Pixii, a Besancon, France-based photo camera manufacturer, announced that it completed funding of €700k ($830k).

The money was raised from a range of investors from France, including BFC Croissance and BFC Angels with the support of BPIFrance, Région Bourgogne Franche-Comté, Banque Populaire and BNP Paribas/WAI. At the same time, the company added Fabrice Barbier as member in the board of directors.

Pixii, founded in 2020 by CEO David Barth, manufactures a photo camera which incorporating an optical rangefinder and an M-mount. The camera, which is targeting image professionals and creatives, is free of any screen, it uses the display of a smartphone to reveal its images, edit photos and share them on social networks.
