RePack changes name to Evyon, raises NOK 18.5 million from Wiski Capital et al.
RePack, an Oslo, Norway-based battery systems producer out of reused EV batteries, announced completing a funding round closed at NOK 18.5 million ($2M).
The money was raised from investors from Norway, including Wiski Capital, Aars (the Møller group's investment company), Antler and Link Venture Capital.
At the same time, the company announced changing its name into Evyon.
RePack, founded in 2020 by Jørgen Erdal and Repack, converts used electric car batteries into high-quality battery systems. It works primarily with algorithms and computer systems to identify which batteries are good enough for reuse, as well as to monitor the systems when they are in operation. The company says it has produced 8 converting systems for their paying customers, including local dron manufacturer KVS Technologies.
