Seasony announced raising DKK 5 million from Vækstfonden and private investors.

Seasony, a Copenhagen, Denmark-based startup building robots for vertical farming, announced that it secured funding of DKK 5M ($810k).

The money was raised from investors from Denmark, including Vækstfonden and private investor Niels Jul Jacobsen. Niels Jul Jacobsen will also join the board of directors.

The money will be used to complete the development and test of the company's solution.

Seasony, founded in 2018 by Christopher Weis Thomasen, Servet Coskun, Erkan Taskiran and Christopher Thomasen (CEO), build robots devices that can enable automation in the vertical farming process.
