Copenhagen Coffee Lab, a Copenhagen, Denmark-based coffee roastery and wholesaler, sold 70% of the company two Danish entrepreneurs Steen Skallebæk and Ole Kristoffersen.

The financial details of the transaction remain undisclosed, while the founders of the company, Jacob Karlsen and Allan Krogsgaard Nielsen, will keep a minority position, owning the rest of 30%.

Steen Skallebæk and Ole Kristoffersen are the founders of Lagkagehuset, a bakery and food-service chain in Denmark, and in which Nordic Capital acquired the majority stake in 2017.

Copenhagen Coffee Lab is exclusively a coffee shop that supplies to coffee shops, restaurants and cafés. The company also operated its own locations - four cafés in Lisbon, one in Duisburg and three in Düsseldorf. In addition to coffee shop and coffee shops, Copenhagen Coffee Lab is also behind Kalles Kaffe, Denmark's largest supplier of mobile coffee shops, owning 25 mobile units.
