Urbanitae announced raising €2.5M from Spanish investors led by K Fund.

Urbanitae, a Madrid, Spain-based operator of a crowdfunding investment platform for large real estate projects, announced the completion of a €2.5M ($3M) capital funding round.

The money was raised from Spanish investors led by K Fund and joined by All Iron Ventures and Viriditas Ventures.

Urbanitae, founded in 2017 by CEO Diego Bestard and Jorge Pulido, developed a platform aiming to connect small investors with large real estate projects. The company began its activity in mid-2019, after receiving authorization from the local autorithies, and says that it it processed 26 financing projects worth €17 million.

Urbanitae previously raised €1 million in 2018.
