Veat Foods announced raising preseed funding of SEK 5M.
Veat Foods, a Stockholm, Sweden-based startup producing plant-based food sold via vending machines, announced the completion of a SEK 5M ($600k) capital investment round.
The money was provided by the Sweden-based investor focused on climate change startups, Pale Blue Dot and included contributions from angels Robert Ahldin and Erik Segerborg, as well as from Berlin-based Purple Orange Ventures and Shio Equity.
Veat Foods, founded in 2019 by CEO Andreas Karlsson, is a producer of plant-based food including salads, bowls, wraps & snacks, which are sold via vending machines. The products are available in commercial places including A House, Åhléns City and Söderhallarna from Stockholm.
