Wiral adds $600k in capital investment.

Wiral Technologies, an Oslo, Norway-based producer of camera accessories, announced closing an investment round totalling NOK 5M ($600k). The investors list include StartupLab Oslo and Norwegian angel investor Trygve Skibeli.

At the same time, the company announced moving its headquarters to Oslo.

Wiral, founded in 2016 in Trondheim, Norway and led by CEO Andrea Holvik Thorson, develops a camera accessory that can be remotely controlled along a rope to get dynamic footage.

The product, Wiral LITE, is a portable, affordable and user friendly cable camera system which makes it easy to capture unique angles when you are filming. It was launched on Kickstarter and pre-sold for $1M.
