Argentum (investor - Private Equity)

Argentum is an asset manager specialising in Nordic private equity funds and energy-focused private equity.

Established in 2001 and owned by the Norwegian Ministry of Trade, Argentum currently has NOK 18 billion under management.

Two thirds of the funds are managed on behalf of the Norwegian Government and one third on behalf of private investors investing through the Argentum investor programmes, such as the Nordic Private Equity Programme and Argentum Investment Partner.

These programmes have been developed to mobilise further capital to the Nordic private equity markets. Argentum invests in the private equity market through primary, secondary and co-investments.
