Based in Helsinki, Finland and, since 2015, Santa Clara, CA, Beddit was founded in 2006 by Aalto and University of Helsinki PhD students: Lasse Leppäkorpi; Joonas Paalasmaa; Kim Dikert; and Mikko Waris

Beddit develops and markets revolutionary products and applications for sleep and wellness monitoring.

Utilizing special sensor technology and sophisticated signal analysis algorithms, Beddit has created products for tracking of sleep, heart rate and breathing without any disturbing wearable sensors.

Beddit Sleep is an ultra-thin film sensor that you place in your bed, under the bed sheet. All you have to do is to sleep on it. Beddit connects wirelessly to your smartphone for a sleep analysis. In the morning Beddit app tells you how you slept and how to sleep better.

Beddit products are globally used by medical and training professionals as well as by consumers.
