CardLab (private company)

Founded in 2003 by Torsten Nordentoft, among others, CardLab has done extensive research in high security cards for more than a decade. Based in Herlev, outside of Copenhagen, CardLab performs as one of Scandinavias' most promising high tech firms.

Working with several well consolidated international investors, we have developed a range of unique products and high tech solutions, several patented and already in use by card companies and card providers across the globe.

CardLab provides its costumers with OEM sale of individual technologies as well as development of customer ordered complete solutions.

From the very beginning, CardLab has focused on making convenient card solutions secure and add convenience to the secure card solutions and at the same time to be able to use the existing infrastructure to save companies a huge cost in changing infrastructure. In doing so CardLab has created a number of microelectronic building blocks from which a card can be constructed to suit exactly the security need and convenience level required by the customer.

Having gained a position as a leading innovation partner for the card industry, CardLab now offers a wide range of technologies and solutions for integration in ID, financial and access cards, such as RFID and Bridge cards, the latter connecting mobile payments with existing payment infrastructure.
