CyberLightning (private company)

Cyberlightning Ltd. was founded in December 2010 in Oulu (The Silicon Valley of the Nordics – Close to Polar Circle), Finland.

The founding team had a joint vision on future 3D Internet and its opportunities. In May 2014 the company launched a new spearhead solution CyberVille® after massive development efforts.

The approach CyberLightning has taken is to make the Internet of Things visible and understandable.

The typical customers are system integrators building solutions for energy, traffic or infrastructure verticals together with end customers like utility providers.

The CyberVille platform is built on an open-source, standards-based internet technology and follows a modular architecture approach. It can easily accommodate a very wide range of data sets and readily integrate with existing enterprise platforms and tools.

The solution has been tested with proof-of-concepts and pilots for a period of more than one year. Customer and partner feedback has been overwhelming and solution features are fine-tuned according to partner needs.

During the first 32 operational months the company has grown from garage to its 8th office premises. Cyberlightning is VC funded and it’s expanding its operations globally.
