EdTech Foundry is a startup factory that builds products for higher education.
We collaborate with universities to solve problems, validate solutions and build, run and scale our own edtech startups.
The current flagship is differ.chat - the course communication app for higher education.
EdTech Foundry was started by Kristian Collin Berge, lecturer at the Center for Entrepreneurship at the University of Oslo, Geir Sand Nilsen, former founder of Mobile School, developer Kenneth Lynne and Are Almaas.
The company received NOK 8.5 million in funding in order to develop artificial intelligent "chat bots" in a new communications service for students, with Innovation Norway IRD scheme, BI and investor Tharald Nustad, thorugh Cartha AS.
The company's owners are Kristian Collin Berge (30.9%), Geir Sand Nilsen (30.7%), Are Almaas (13.2%), Kenneth Lynne (13.2%) Cartha As (Tharald Nustad) (8% ), Peder Nustad as (4%).
