Garage48 - legendary hackathon series from Estonia is going to Oslo Innovation Week 2018!
Bright-minded startup enthusiasts from Norway, Estonia and beyond are welcome to join the awesome 48-hour hackathon to turn an idea to prototype in just two days.

The last couple of years we've been seeing the rise of the Impact Economy marked by the growing connection of social and commercial interests. The organisations willingly work on creating a positive impact on the communities they interact with: customers, employees, suppliers, citizens with the aim of making “profit with purpose”.

A lot of international organizations also aspire to have a positive impact on communities across the globe. Such, UN defined 17 Sustainable Development goals to transform our world, each focusing on several problems seriously affecting the wellbeing of people pretty much everywhere.

We invite you to become a part of this movement at Garage48 Impact Hackathon that will take place on 21-23 of September in Oslo on a weekend prior to and as a part of Oslo Innovation Week 2018: sustainABILITY.

During Garage48 Impact Hackathon, the participants will focus on getting closer to achieve two UN Sustainable Development goals by developing an impactful startup idea.

There will be 3 streams:
Smart City - focusing on solutions that would make the cities safer, cleaner, and more inclusive.
Mobility - focusing on developing solutions for faster and more convenient transportation that would reduce the pollution and time spent commuting, as well as will make delivering goods more efficient and sustainable.
Sustainable Energy - focusing on making energy more accessible and affordable, by developing tech-driven sustainable solutions.
However, since the topics are so connected, the idea might be also on the intersection of these streams.
