Acando acquires Inventas.
Acando, a Stockholm, Sweden-based consulting company, acquired the Norwegian company Inventas.
The financial details of the deal remain undisclosed.
Inventas, founded in 1997 and led by CEO Einar Kolderup Selvig, is a design consulting agency providing services within innovation, product design, service design, product development, engineering, simulation and manufacturing. The company has its roots from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Trondheim, and has more than 50 employees located in offices from Trondheim, Molde, Bergen, Stavanger, Kristiansand and Oslo.
Acando, founded in 2001 by Per Tjernberg and Anthony Schmidt and led by CEO Carl-Magnus Mansson, is a software, information technology, database and web design consulting firm. The company has about 1700 employees based in five countries and is listed on Nasdaq Stockholm.
