Airolit raised SEK 13 million

Airolit, a Gothenburg, Sweden-based manufacturer of industrial drones, announced raising a funding round closed at SEK 13 million ($1.3M).

The money was raised locally from investors in Sweden, joined by a 4 million contribution made by Almi Invest. In connection of the deal, Klas Friberg, former police chief and SÄPO chief, will join the board of directors.

Airolit, founded in 2017 by CEO Claes Svensson, develops and manufactures high-performance drones for professional applications as it offers customer-specific UAV solutions in branches like security, defense, and research. The company has two drone models on the market and customers are active in inspection, supervision, monitoring, security and defense.
