Airpelago in a pre-seed round led by VEQ.

Airpelago, a Gothenburg, Sweden-based software company developer of a cloud-based tool used for drones inspections, announced closing a pre-seed funding round.

The money was raised from investors led by VEQ.

Airpelago, founded by Fredrik Falkman and Tobias Fridén and led by CEO Max Hjalmarsson, developed a software tool called Drone Mission Control, which allows for safe and efficient inspection of power lines and other linear infrastructures such as rail, road and pipelines. Customers vary from asset owners with their own service divisions, to their subcontractors specializing in the inspection of infrastructure assets.
