Akiles secured €600k from Mnext Ventures and Kabil Capital

Akiles, a Barcelona, Spain-based startup working on the development of a wearable acting as a smartlock, announced the completion of a €600k ($660k) capital investment round.

The money was provided by Spanish investors, including Mnext Ventures and Kabil Capital.

Akiles, founded in 2018 by CEO Nicolás Salame, Borja Rossell and Darío Nieuwenhuis, developed a tool that tool is complementary to conventional keys and allows programming the time when the key will work on the user's mobile.

Prior to this round, in 2019, the company secured 232,000 euros via The Crowd Angel
